Through the LEGO Education programs, students build critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills— while also ensuring they have the academic knowledge to succeed.

The goal is to create a world in which all students have access to engaging hands-on experiences during their classes at school each day.

Requirements for membership in COBOTICS include:

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

A minimum GPA of 3.o on a 4.0 scale, is required.

SERVICE

Students are expected to contribute to the school or community without compensation. This includes volunteering or participating in school clubs, volunteering for community service etc.

LEADERSHIP

Students should demonstrate leadership skills, such as being resourceful, a good problem solver, and an idea contributor.

CHARACTER

Students should demonstrate good behavior in and out of school, and be responsible for completing their obligations. No disciplinary infractions categorized as major will be allowed.

UNDERSTANDING THE OBLIGATIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

Students who accept membership into COBOTICS should be aware of the time and commitment involved with this honor. For example, there may be required attendance at meetings and other obligations outlined in the chapter’s bylaws. Members also must participate in chapter and individual service projects.
